Jennifer Clements

Editor Jennifer Clements has been with Babcox since 1997, and serves in a variety of capacities including corporate marketing, custom publishing and show daily team member. Jennifer has been an integral part of Babcox’s show daily services, serving as editor and managing editor of the AAPEX (Automotive Aftermarket Product Expo) show daily for more than eight years, and the Mid-America Trucking Show daily for three years. In addition to these responsibilities, Jennifer is editor of TechShop — Equipment, Tools & Supplies, and managing editor of Underhood Service and ImportCar magazines in Babcox’s TechGroup.

Senior Graphic Designer

Senior Graphic Designer Tammy House has been with Babcox for 28 years. Tammy handles all production — both pre-show and on-site — of AAPEX Express (the Automotive Aftermarket Product Expo show daily), a responsibility she has held for more than eight years. She has also carried these duties for the Mid-America Trucking Show daily for the past three years. Tammy also is the full-time designer behind the pages of Babcox’s Counterman, Fleet Equipment, BodyShop Business and Motorcycle Product News magazines.

Jeff Stankard, Vice President and Group Publisher
Automotive Service Market Specialist

Jeff Stankard is an expert in the automotive service market and his experience includes more than 10 years with Babcox, where he is responsible for Brake & Front End, ImportCar, Underhood Service, TechShop, Tomorrow’s Technician and Servicio Automotriz magazines, as well as the autocarepro:news e-newsletter. He also serves clients as the leader of the Babcox market research business. A former employee of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Jeff spent 15 years in accounting, marketing research, product management and export sales positions. Jeff is an active participant on various industry association committees, and regularly attends industry events and conferences to keep abreast of the markets served by the magazines he oversees. Jeff’s vast experience in the many facets of the marketplace gives him a unique perspective in understanding the needs of customers and tailoring programs that add value to their marketing communication efforts.

Andrew Markel
Undercar Service and Repair Specialist

Brake & Front End Editor Andrew Markel is an expert in undercar service and repair and has been with the magazine for more than 10 years. He is a technician and former service writer and holds several automotive certifications from ASE and aftermarket manufacturers, bringing a wealth of experience and practical knowledge to his position. Markel has produced many technical training and marketing pieces for several aftermarket manufacturers. He has also helped launch the first Spanish language magazine targeting technicians, and advises companies on how to interface with this growing demographic. He has been quoted in several national media outlets including SmartMoney, CNN Money and Crain’s Business on various automotive repair topics.

Ed Sunkin

Underhood Service and Tomorrow’s Technician Editor Ed Sunkin has more than 15 years of experience covering the automotive aftermarket, with more than 10 years specializing in underhood service and repair. An active industry participant, he has served as a board member of Automotive Training Manager’s Council (ATMC) and the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE). Ed also is active in various automotive and aftermarket-related events, including serving as a judge at the annual Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills event for the past 10 years, as well serving as a moderator at MACS technical presentations. Larry Carley

Technical Editor Larry Carley has been with Babcox for more than 25 years and is a respected authority on automotive service and repair. He has been ASE certified in seven areas of automotive expertise, and has worked with ASE in developing technician certification tests. He has written more than 2,000 technical articles on a wide range of topics, authored two automotive textbooks, and written numerous automotive training programs, E-learning courses, and automotive diagnostic & training software. ImportCar Editor Mary DellaValle has more than 20 years of experience covering the automotive aftermarket, with 18 years specializing in the import and performance markets. She’s heavily involved in the import vehicle market, serving on the Auto International Association (AIA) Board of Directors since 2001. The editor of ImportCar magazine for the majority of her 22-year career at Babcox, Mary has a total of 24 years of automotive aftermarket publishing experience. Dave Wooldridge
Engine Rebuilding Specialist

Engine Builder Publisher Dave Wooldridge has been specializing in the engine build/rebuild market since 1983, when he joined the Babcox team. Dave’s experience includes 15 years as an editor in the heavy-duty truck parts and engine build/rebuild aftermarket in addition to his last 12 years as publisher of Engine Builder Magazine. Dave is an active participant in the engine aftermarket industry and has past and current experience making industry presentations and serving on various technical and convention planning committees for the Production Engine Remanufacturers Association (PERA) and the Automotive Engine Rebuilders Association (AERA). Dave is also the current Chairman of the Engine Repower Council (ERC), a segment of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA), whose mission is to provide education to consumer’s on the benefits of remanufactured/rebuilt engines, and sales and marketing assistance to those involved in selling and installing remanufactured/rebuilt engines.
